Code Uyai "Beauty" corset top provides cultural femininity wrapped in red lace embroidering over silk duchess. Uyai or Beauty comes from the Ibibio language which was inspiration for this piece, as the ruffled organza detailing across the shoulders and wrist, are reminiscent of the costumes worn by Akwa Ibom dancers. As always, we kept it sophisticated and semi-seductive by adding mess sleeves for a sheer surprise. The wrist ruffles are detachable which makes it easier to remove while dressing. Culture is a women's secret to defining her true authentic self, and embracing beauty from within.
